02Development Journal

A project that is still being written.

Tukzie is a live UCT engineering programme, not a finished product. The archive grows as each subsystem moves from problem statement to prototype to test.

Concept

Problem definition

What sustainable, locally serviceable urban mobility should actually look like — asked out loud, in a workshop.

Design

Concept development

Vehicle architecture, energy strategy and safety framing take shape as parallel workstreams.

Build

Prototyping & integration

Structural, electrical and control subsystems come together on the platform for the first time.

Now

Testing & iteration

Prototype v2 has entered structured field evaluation. Findings return to the workshop and shape the next revision.
